Pierz Pioneers vs Rocori Spartans Wrestling 2018

The Pioneers were paired against the Rocori Spartans in the 3rd Place Match at the Bluejacket Duals in Cambridge on Saturday. Earlier in the season, the Pioneers had beaten the Spartans 46-27 in Pierz just prior to Christmas.  The Pioneers prevailed once again, this time by a score of 60-15 in a match in which only 7 of the 14 scheduled matches were actually wrestled, with the other 7 being declared Forfeits one way or the other.  Trevor Radunz and Ross Boser won by Fall, Jake Andres was awarded a Forfeit win, Austin Radunz won by Fall to make it 24-3 after the 138 weight class. Brandon Tomala, Reese Kapsner, Jalen Jansen, Luke Girtz and Carson Huls also won by Forfeit before Jacob Gotvald won 4-1 and Austin Dickmann won 1-0 for the 60-15 final score.
