Pierz Pioneers vs WCA Knights Wrestling 2018

In a rematch of the Class A State Semifinals last year, the Knights earned a dramatic 33-32 win over the Pioneers in Browerville.  Brandon Funk won a big 3-0 decision, Ross Boser had an impressive Major Decision 11-2 win, Austin Radunz put the Pioneers ahead 13-12 with a pin, Brandon Tomala added a Fall victory as well. After the 170 match, the Pioneers found themselves trailing 27-19, but Jalen Jansen picked up a 13-5 Major Decision to make it 27-23, Luke Girtz won by Fall to give Pierz a 29-27 lead and then Carson Huls pulled out a 5-4 win to make it 32-27 after the 220 match.  But the Knights got the pin they needed at Heavyweight to come back and win 33-32.
