Pierz Pioneers at Holdingford Huskers Girls Basketball 2018

The Pioneers put up a valiant effort against the Huskers on the road Monday night, holding the lead for the majority of the game until the Huskers managed to grab their first lead of the night with just over 4:30 left in the game and then held on for a 57-51 CMC victory. In mid-December, the Huskers had steamrolled the Pioneers by 34, 73-39, but this game was much closer. Kelsi Stuckmayer led Pierz with 19 points, Brittany Boser added 9 and Mariah Olesch had 8. Carolynn Becker paced the Huskers with 16 points.
