The #3 seeded Pioneers took care of their business in the 8AA Quarterfinals in Thief River Falls with a 55-21 victory over the #6 seeded Road Crew. Trevor Radunz got it started with a Fall at 106 followed by a 5-0 win for Brandon Funk at 113 and then a Forfeit for Jake Andres made the score 15-0. Austin Radunz earned a Fall in just :15 in his 138 lb match to make it 21-9.  Brandon Tomala's 9-0 Major Decision increased the Pioneers advantage to 25-9 at the midway point of the match.  The Pioneers then put the match away by ripping off 4 straight pins by Reese Kapsner, Jalen Jansen, Luke Girtz and Carson Huls with Jacob Gotvald finishing off the Dual with Fall of his own at 285 to make it 55-21.
