To begin the second half, Glenn dives into some of the problems with the youth soccer setup in the city of Houston. As the second half moves on, he interviews longtime FIFA Match Commissioner Dr. Joe Machnik to discuss his recent election into the National Soccer Hall of Fame, how he got involved in the game, his experiences at all levels of the sport, the work he is doing with Fox Sports, and the future of video assistant referees. To close it out, Glenn interviews Dynamo defender and USMNT legend DaMarcus Beasley and they discuss the Dynamo’s preparation for the upcoming season, how he’s stayed at the top level for so long, the atmosphere of the locker room, the expectations for the team this season, and how the MLS has changed since he debuted all the way back in 1999.
