Pierz Pioneers vs Esko Eskomos Boys Basketball Section 7AA 2018

As the Section 7AA Playoffs opened, the 8th seeded Pioneers traveled North to take on the #1 seeded Eskomos in the first-ever meeting between the two schools on the hardwood.  Pierz battled right to the end, keeping it close throughout.  The Pioneers stayed within single-digit striking distance for most of the game until they were forced to foul late in the game and Esko knocked down some clutch free throws for a 64-50 win.  Jonah Prokott led Pierz with 13 points, Peter Schommer had 12, Preston Rocheleau 10, Brandon Stuckmayer 5, Johnny Hopkins 4, Michael Leidenfrost 4 and Jesse Marshik 2.
