LISTEN: Emily Fermor, 25-year-old Lib Dem Maidstone Borough Councillor - 08/03/18

The idea of dropping the voting age to 16 has been backed by councillors in part of Kent... It's said to have gained 'overwhelming support' at a #Maidstone Borough Council meeting last night.  Emily Fermor is a Lib Dem councillor who was elected in 2016 when she was just 23 - she says she's not the only young person interested in politics. They'll now send an open letter about it to the government.
