PSG crash out, measuring Manchester United and el Superclásico

Episode 90,   Mar 08, 2018, 12:38 PM

In this week's podcast, Ian McCourt is joined by the Onefootball newsroom's Daniel Cadena Jordan and Alex Mott.

This week's edition of the podcast kicks off with the biggest games of the week: the Champions League. PSG are out. But who is to blame? Would it have been any different if Neymar had been there? And what do PSG need to do to step up to the next level.

After that there is some Spurs chat as well as a few words – and we mean a few – on Manchester City and Liverpool's progression.

With that out of the way, it is time to talk about what is, traditionally, one of the biggest games of the Premier League season, Manchester United v Liverpool. Since Liverpool got so much love last week, the focus is on Manchester United. And there are so many things to talk about. Has it been a disappointing season by their standards? How has Alexis got on? And how will Mourinho stop the Liverpool attack?

After that, it is time to get excited about el Superclásico, Boca Juniors v River Plate. It has been a poor season for River but not so for Boca. The team talk about that, the return of Carlos Tevez and why so many clubs are eying up Gonzalo Maroni.
