The University of Kent is hoping more school leavers will consider careers in construction, as part of a new degree apprenticeship scheme being rolled out. More than 50 construction companies are descending on the Uni today in Canterbury for a conference as part of National Apprenticeships Week. The scheme will offer a full degree in things like architecture, quantity surveying and town planning while creating job opportunities on major building projects happening in Kent over the next few years. Hannah Sullivan-Guckian is working on the project.
