Soccer Matters opens up with Glenn recapping the International Friendly matches and gives his thoughts on the World Cup, which is quickly approaching. He quickly gets fan’s perspectives of the World Cup storylines that are most intriguing to them. Glenn breaks down certain smaller teams like Egypt, Nigeria, Colombia, etc., and who could be dark horses and make noise in the tournament. The elephant in the room is the beating that Spain gave Argentina on 3/27/2018 with a score of 6-1; Glenn gets input from callers and provides his own opinions on the game. Glenn closes out the first hour with the Brazil game against Germany and going over the next few Houston Dynamo games, providing analysis and what key matchups to look out for.
