Animation is serious business so this week we scrutinise the trailers for Ralph Breaks The Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2 and BallMastrz: 9009 through the lenses of our stop-motion microscopes. After that we dissect Crunchyroll's Anime Awards for 2017 as we really want to know why … ?

In amongst all of that "science" are our featured anime, which are Princess Arete - Sunao Katabuchi's feature-length adaptation of Diana Cole's feminist children's fairytale The Clever Princess - and the second season of Attack on Titan.
