Pierz Pioneers vs Kimball Cubs Section 6AA Baseball 2018

The Pioneers defeat the Cubs 10-4 at Dick Putz Field in St. Cloud in the 2nd Round of the Section 6AA Tournament. Sophomore Peter Schommer improved to 7-1 with a Complete Game 11 strikeout performance. Schommer also went 3-3 with a double, triple and sacrifice fly and drove in 2 runs. Alex Funk also had 3 hits, including a pair of doubles, a squeeze bunt and 3 rbi's. Reese Kapsner, Preston Rocheleau and Brandon Dickmann also had multi-hit games for the Pioneers.
