The Cubs defeat the Rebels 4-2 for their 4th straight victory. Cody Meyer and Derek Poser combine to keep the potent Rebels offense in check, aided largely by the infield behind them, which turned 3 double plays in the game. Hunter Swanson's 1st inning 2-run single was key, and Randall added a run on a 3rd inning Rebels error and Rick Drew's 6th inning rbi single.
