Supreme Court upheld the death sentence given to Nirbhaya rape-murder convicts. Three out of four convicted of the 2012 case had petitioned against the verdict. Heavy rains flooded Mumbai on Monday as the city recorded highest record rainfall in this season. A week after the 11 deaths in Delhi's Burari police claim to have found evidence of struggle by one of the victims. The case was so far being treated as mass suicide but police have now filed a complaint for murder. The case has been handed over to the Crime Branch.
