A picnic protest against new guidance to parents who home school their children is taking place in Canterbury.

Toddlers Cove Park will be full of home educators protesting draft legislation, which they say allows the local authority to give their own view on what's considered suitable education.

The cabinet member for education from KCC, says they support home educators, providing children receive suitable education from parents.

Milly Öh is organising the protest.
