A temple priest from Kerala's Thrissur district has been arrested on Monday for allegedly threatening to kill President Ram Nath Kovind who is on a three-day visit in the state. The person has been identified as Jayaraman, a priest of Chirakkal temple in Thrissur. President Kovind had arrived in Thiruvananthapuram on Sunday evening. The President will also inaugurate the 'Festival of Democracy' to mark the conclusion of the diamond jubilee celebrations of the Kerala Legislative Assembly on Monday.
