The Billygoats beat the Waconia Lakers 5-1 in their first round game at the Class C State Tournament in New Prague on Saturday as draftee Nate DeChaine hurled all 9 innings for the Win. Matt Kummet belted a 2nd inning solo Homer, Joe Kahl added a 6th inning sacrifice fly and then the Billygoats added 3 huge runs in the bottom of the 8th when Matt Kummet was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded and Mark Kahl singled home another 2 runs for the 5-1 final score.
