It's been revealed a food distribution charity have provided children with more than 2-and-a-half thousand meals each week to tackle holiday hunger in Kent.
Research shows across the UK one in four children don't get the amount of food they need during the summer break.
FareShare Kent say this year there's been a 30 percent rise in the number of kids they're helping.
They're working to save surplus food that would go to waste, and give it to charities in the county to hand out.
