The Skis began their 2018 State Tournament with a 2-0 win over the Bulls in Shakopee. Jack Hegarty threw a 1-hit shutout with 15 strikeouts to propel Sobieski to the Sweet 16. The Skis scored both their runs in the 3rd inning on back-to-back rbi singles from Collin Eckman and Joey Hanowski.
