The Billygoats lose a 3-2 heartbreaker to the defending State Champion Express in New Prague in the 2018 State Quarterfinals. Buckman trailed 3-0 headed to the bottom of the 9th but got back-to-back 2-out rbi singles from Matt Kummet and Shawn Lanners but fell one run short of completing the comeback, dropping the 3-2 game to finish their outstanding season with a record of 20-6.
