The second hour of Soccer Matters continues with Ronaldo Pena, Venezuelan forward for the Houston Dynamo. Pena recounts his time on the youth team and recounts the differences of the senior team. Pena also talks about his motherland, Venezuela, and how the country has grown in regards to soccer. Glenn gets back into Dynamo talk and gets Pena’s thoughts on the Lamar Hunt Open Cup. Glenn finishes off the interview with Pena’s World Cup ambitions. Dave Sarachan, US Men’s National Team coach, joins the show and talks about the US and their upcoming matches. He talks about what was learned against its loss against Brazil, and how they can incorporate their lessons into upcoming matches.
