Sensex, Nifty likely to start on a strong note backed by global cues; Pharma stocks, PNB Housing Finance in focus

Indian equity indices, the BSE Sensex and the NSE Nifty 50, are likely to start Friday on a strong note, tracking positive global and domestic cues.

The BSE Sensex jumped nearly 305 points to close at 37,717 on Wednesday, rising 0.81 percent, while the NSE Nifty 50 settled at 11,370, climbing 82.40 points or by 0.73 percent. Stocks market were closed on Thursday on account of Ganesh Chaturthi.
