Plans to light up Ards Town Hall in rainbow colours to mark Pride celebrations have been blocked

Plans to light up Ards town hall in rainbow colours to mark all future Pride days have been blocked by a majority of councillors, at the DUP led  Ards and North Down Borough Council last night. 

The motion was put forward by Alliance councillors Gavin Walker and Andrew Muir to promote equality for all. Vinny spoke to Andrew, and Reverend David McIlveen.
