Around 150 people will be braving the cold water later to take part in #Deal's annual Boxing Day Dip.
They'll be running into the sea in fancy dress to raise money for a 3-year-old local boy who has an incurable disease that causes muscle wastage.
Marlene Burnham is president of the rotary club of Deal and helped organise the event.
