To begin the second half, Glenn is joined by Patti Smith of the Harris County Sports Authority to preview the Houston Sports Awards Ceremony. After that opening segment, he is joined by the Dynamo’s newest midfield signing, Tommy McNamara to preview the upcoming season with the Dynamo and discuss what an experience it was working and playing with the like of Frank Lampard, Andrea Pirlo, and Patrick Vieira and NYCFC. In the bottom half of the hour, Glenn interviews Jahiro Otzoy from Guasatoya Communications to get a Guatemalan perspective of the Dynamo’s upcoming CONCACAF Champions League tie. To finish out the show, he is joined by Tim Holt, the Managing Director of San Antonio FC to talk about the MLS choosing Austin over San Antonio FC, how that decision affects the future of the franchise, how the team’s academy is looking, and how impactful the USL has been on soccer in the United States.
