8th March 2019 - The highs and lows of non league football: Wrexham, Cray Wanderers & Sticker
Flying solo, Tim Fuell speaks with Wrexham Captain Shaun Pearson as they top the National League and travel this weekend to second-placed Leyton Orient.
Top and clear of the chasers in the Isthmian South East Division and finally planning for their own home ground, Cray Wanderers are having a season to savour. Chairman Gary Hillman however, has years of experience and with second placed Horsham visiting this weekend and more play-off chasers still to play, he's not counting his chickens just yet.
As the club in a, one pub, one shop village, Sticker AFC have an immediate quirky charm, but that's not much help on the field, as they remain the only club in the top 6 steps of the non league game without a league win this season. Bottom of the South West Peninsula League Premier Division it's not been the season they had hoped for but manager Andy Avery is clearly proud of his club, the committee and the fact that in non league you enjoy the highs and ride the lows.
David Richardson, Online Editor at The Non League Paper is back discussing the OWNAFC app, the weekend's big National League matches and Staines Town becoming the first club in the pyramid to be officially relegated.
