A Kent headteacher says letting children hand out sweets on their birthday is 'unacceptable' in this day and age.

It comes as recent stats show across England nearly 13,000 under-5s had to have rotten teeth removed last year.

Giving out sugary treats to classmates has been banned at #Wateringbury Primary School near #Maidstone.
