Campaigners have told km-fm they expect Gatwick to press ahead with a masterplan which could eventually lead to the building of a third runway.
A draft plan released last year revealed the idea of increasing the number of flights taking off from the current runway, and using the emergency one for routine flights by the mid 2020s.
They also want to safeguard land to expand in future.
Opponents say it shows a 'total disregard' for communities in west Kent who suffer from aircraft noise.
