A whistleblower who worked in the Education Authority has told the Nolan Show he was told to mislead the public as to when applications were received by the government body. These were applications so that children with disabilities could be given help and support to be able to go to school like everybody else. The Education Authority has a responsibility to deal with those applications within a specific time period - a number of weeks. But you are about to hear today from a member of staff who claims he was told to pretend the Authority had not received the applications - and put them to the side. In a nutshell, that meant some of our most vulnerable children in NI were being left on a pile, and their parents misled. This is a shocking story this morning. You will hear this whistleblower describe the chaos within the Education Authority, how files would be lost, and how parents were being ignored. Remember, who is at the heart of this story. Children with disabilities. Stephen began by asking Paul - not his real name -  what his job was. We also got reaction from Koulla Yiasouma - NI Commissioner for children & young people.
