Microsoft's 4-day work week in Japan increases productivity by 40%

 | Microsoft Japan which spent August 2019 experimenting with a four-day work week, said that sales per employee rose 40% compared with the same month last year. Full-time employees were allowed to take off on five consecutive Fridays with pay under the company's 'Work-Life Choice Challenge Summer 2019'. During the period, the meetings were shortened to a maximum of 30 minutes.
