My bedtime routine

An evening routine is just as important as a morning routine. I used to get up multiple times a night to work, eat, follow ideas, etc. until I finally figured it out. Here are a few things I've learned:

• No screens if I get up in the night. My phone stays in a different room.

• If I can't sleep, I pray.

• No eating in the middle of the night. I usually don't eat after dinner.

• Melatonin helps a lot.

• No beverages other than water, especially in the evening.

• When I get up, I stay up. I don't push the snooze.
