Departure Lounge with Flick Ryan PT SCT Chat 1

Episode 389,   Jan 30, 2020, 02:55 AM

The Surf Coast Trek is a 40km fundraising walk along the Surf Coast Walk from Aireys Inlet to Torquay. The Trek is a unique opportunity to participate in a challenging, rewarding and achievable community event that takes place in the beautiful, diverse landscapes of the Surf Coast. The track takes you through Ironbark forests, across stunning exposed cliff tops, amongst exquisite wild flowers, across long sandy beaches all with sweeping ocean views.

Great news! It's a SELL OUT!
You can still support the event by donating to our Trek Champion and Trek Champion 2020 Stampsy.

Fundraising dollars will be split evenly between local charities Kids Plus Foundation and Give Where You Live Foundation.

Kids Plus Foundation is a community organisation that informs, influences and delivers specialist multi discipline therapy programs for babies, children and young people with neuro developmental conditions, including cerebral palsy, brain injury and stroke.

Give Where You Live Foundation raises funds and allocates them to the less fortunate in our community on an annual basis via major grants programs within the Geelong and district including the Surf Coast.

Fellow Trek Champion Flick Ryan from FlickPT checked into the Departure Lounge, for the first of a series of tips and reminders for those lacing up and taking on the 40kms this year.
