Emile Heskey: Dealing With Pressure - Ep 178
Aug 06, 2020, 04:00 AM
Emile Heskey is a former football player who had an illustrious career playing for Leicester City, Liverpool, England and more. He’s played on the biggest stage of the Champions League and at World Cups.
It was great to speak with Emile and get a real insight into what goes on behind the scenes in football, particularly with his experiences of dealing with pressure and mental health.
Particularly after the past weekend’s FA Cup Final was renamed as the Heads Up FA Cup Final in aid to raise awareness of mental health
During this conversation, we spoke about:
- The importance of spending time with yourself
- Handling pressure in life
- The commercialisation of sport
PLUS I’m super excited to announce that my self-published book ‘The Search For Clarity’ is out now. The book shares my experiences and biggest learnings of going from living with a negative mindset to now living from a place of clarity and happiness - and how you can too.
