Paul Ellen

Paul Ellen began his broadcasting career in Haley Center on the Auburn University campus. He was part of the group that literally built WEGL nearly 50 years ago. He went on to call Auburn Baseball and was part of a Collee World Series team featuring Joe Beckwith and Terry Leach. For two years he called Auburn Football then returned to the Tigers’ broadcast booth in 1990. He began a sting of 30 years as the host for the Auburn Football broadcasts. Last year Paul joined me in Omaha, Nebraska, for yet another Auburn Baseball team playing in the College World Series. A man of many talents, Paul Ellen is featured in this Talking Tigers Podcast, presented by Wickles Pickles.
