Walt Woltosz

Walt Woltosz came to Auburn to study engineering because a buddy in his Air Force Strategic Air Command Unit had taken a year on the Plains. Two Auburn engineering degrees later, he found himself on the West Coast. He and his wife, Ginger, developed the first PC based communications system for persons with severe disabilities. This system came about when Ginger's mother developed ALS. The system has been recognized by the Smithsonian Institute.
At the Georgia football game, Walt and Ginger were on the field for the announcement that they were committing $10 million dollars for the new football performance center. It's the largest gift in Auburn Athletics history. The remarkable story of Walt Woltosz in this Talking Tigers Podcast.
