Ep 181: #YoungCarersCount with Amy, Tasha and The Children's Society
Nov 23, 2020, 06:00 AM
This week Mick Coyle is joined by Young Carers to discuss the impact of lockdown on their mental health.
Amy and Tasha explain what life was life from March onwards, dealing with home-schooling, caring responsibilities and the impact of restrictions on socialising.
Then we hear from Helen Leadbitter from the Children's Society, to look at the issue in a wider context, and raise issues around lack of data that prevents Young Carers from getting the support they require.
