Insurer warns of spike of break-ins and damage during festive season

RACT Insurance has warned people to ensure their homes and property are secure during the Christmas-New Year break, which traditionally sees a 45% increase in claims.
The festive season also sees more claims for damage to caravans and boats.
With some simple steps, the chances of making a claim can be decreased.
