The Wellbeing Project: Purpose
Season 2, Episode 39, Feb 03, 2021, 06:00 AM
Welcome to our new interview series for this month which is geared to help you discover your purpose in your career now or in the future. I have carefully selected to interview individuals who have found that thing that lights them up and are currently living out their why. We are going to talk about all things that will help you in making more conscious decisions about your career so that you can live to your full potential.
In this interview, we talk about Che and Gordan’s passion project!
Che has been working in the industry for almost 7 years and is a second stewardess. Che shares with us that it is possible to start a dream project while working on board.
Che and Gordan have a love for adventure and exploring new places.
Their dream to live and travel in a home on wheels was born 4 years ago. After searching for nearly a year, they stumbled upon THE ONE. She is a 1991 School bus and is named Olive. For Che and Gordan the significance of the name Olive, is quite biblical. They are both on a path of searching for purpose and peace and in the bible they say that the significance of an olive branch is to “come in peace”. Che asserts “that is exactly what we hope this journey will bring us and what we would like to bring to others. Our goal for the future (when Olive is complete) is to be able to travel in her while continuing to be of service to others through works of charity and volunteering. We also hope to be able to rent Olive out to like-minded people with the only requirement being that you do something charitable while you are traveling with her.
Yachting has definitely allowed us the opportunity to root ourselves into our purpose and we cannot wait to see what the future holds for us and all of those that choose to follow their purpose.”
