Hunter Hayes on How Big Changes in His Life Inspired His Latest Music

Multi-platinum selling recording artist, Hunter Hayes has experienced some big changes this year that served as the catalyst to create his latest music. The pandemic allowed the five-time GRAMMY nominee to take the time he needed to fully dedicate himself to Red Sky, the second album in what will be a trilogy, following Wild Blue, released in 2019. 

We sat down virtually with the singer-songwriter from his home in LA to talk about his latest single, “The One That Got Away,”  what he’s been up to during quarantine (road tripping and flying planes) and how his stint on the hit show, The Masked Singer helped him prepare for it all.
