#180 Terry Hershey: In Awe in the Ordinary
Feb 17, 2021, 06:10 AM
Show Notes I really needed this show today for my personal sanity. As you may know, I am hooked on the idea of awe and wonder. Today Terry Hershey and I talk about finding awe in the ordinary. Typically, the idea of awe seems to be most often restricted to some sort of event: like travel or museums. But in these days of Covid, travel and museums are no longer available. Yet, for the keen mind, awareness of the awe in the ordinary everyday aspects of our lives can easily be discovered. I really enjoyed this discussion with Terry. He truly “get’s” awe in ordinary. It was Einstein that said, “He who can no longer pause to wonder and stand rapt in awe is as good as dead; his eyes are closed.” Wouldn’t be glorious if awe became an everyday experience? It is my hope that this show leads you there. I hope you enjoy this conversation as much as I did. Visit Terry at www.terryhershey.com .
