Don't Cancel Forgiveness

"Cancel Culture" is a term heard frequently as old videos or social media posts are dredged up showing a politician or celebrity holding a view outside current mainstream thought. Because of these past views, the one under scrutiny loses his or her place in popular standing despite apologizing for past wrongs; thus, the individual is "canceled."
While "Cancel Culture" is a popular term, it is a very old idea that has no place for the child of God. In this study, we explore our attitudes toward forgiveness to remember that current trends must be avoided.
