He has also testified before both houses of Congress. During the past four years, he has successfully argued some of the country’s most high-profile cases, including a challenge to the Trump Administration’s unprecedented practice of separating families at the border; the Administration’s first and second asylum bans; and the Administration’s first Travel Ban. Lee has won numerous awards for his work, regularly lectures around the country, and frequently appears in national and international media. In addition to his work at the ACLU, he is an adjunct professor at Columbia Law School, and for several years was a visiting professor at Yale Law School.
