Mimi Rocah is a former Assistant United States Attorney in the Southern District of New York, serving from February 2001 until October 2017. As an AUSA, Mimi was involved in the prosecution of organized crime, gun traffickers, corrupt public officials, narcotics dealers, sex traffickers, and child predators. In 2011, under President Obama, Mimi was promoted by US Attorney Preet Bharara as Chief of the Westchester Division for the Department of Justice. Mimi served as primary liaison with law enforcement agencies and other prosecutorial offices such as the Westchester District Attorney’s office, and coordinated and co-chaired multi-county task forces on specific issues such as human trafficking and the opioid overdose epidemic.
