UK Charity Celebrates National Volunteers Week 2021

June 1st to June 7th 2021 is National Volunteers Week, where we celebrate the important work that volunteers to to help charities carry out their vital work.

NVW is even more important this year, as we look at how volunteers have had to alter the way they carry out their work, and in some cases move to a different role, because of the ever changing restrictions caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.

RNIB Connect Radio's Ellie Marsh spoke to Madeline McLaughlin, RNIB Volunteer, and Terry Hopkins, a member of the RNIB Northern Ireland Page Turner Group.

They discuss the many services that Terry uses and how Madeline supports him to stay connected.
