18th June 2021 - Hartlepool United, Whitehawk... the Musical & Our Game
Season 5, Episode 39, Jun 18, 2021, 04:00 AM
It's National League Finals Day on Sunday and Tim Fuell speaks again with Hartepool United boss Dave Challinor and nips in on the Gary Johnson press conference at Torquay United ahead of the big game.
At Whitehawk they do things a little differently. Whilst other clubs have been working on their terrace chants during lockdown, Whitehawk have been working on a musical! One of the writers Oliver Learmouth explains how it all came about and we get an exclusive listen to two of the songs ahead of the official release on Saturday. Joining him is Commercial head-honcho at Whitehawk Kevin Miller who also explains about their forthcoming Community Day where the fans truly do take centre-field and their new eco-kit made from recycled plastic bottles.
Francis Duku learnt the hard-way as a player through injury and has been leading the way for a number of years in the player insurance field for non league. His initiative Our Game has much evolved and explanded and now seeks to serve all the non league family including fans and club chairman with a chance for all to share in the benefits and earn currency for their club.
Plus in a week when League AGMs began David Richardson is on hand with the Non League Paper round-up including confirmation of Neale Ardley as Solihull Moors as revealed in the paper a couple of weeks ago.
