Meet Captain Rupert Savage from PINMAR
"We have been very active in adapting to the new demands of the market in becoming more efficient and preparing for the next few years of growth in servicing a superyacht fleet which continues to expand in both number and size of vessels. As part of this preparation we formed the Global Yachting Group (GYG), with our partners, Rolling Stock. Within GYG are several service companies, including Pinmar, Rolling Stock, Pinmar USA, Pinmar Supply, our yacht chandlery and supply network, along with Technocraft our in-house scaffolding, containment and fittings business.
We’ve refinished 100s of the world’s finest yachts and increasingly we’re involved in finishing some of the largest and most exciting new builds in many of the leading superyacht building yards.
We’re also very proud to have developed the Pinmar Paint Standard, recently updated to version 2.0, our industry’s first comprehensive statement of how a client's expected paint finish should be measured and agreed.
We continue to run the Pinmar Paint Academy’s non-profit making paint courses which teach yacht crew about what we do and how they can look after their paintwork." Source: www.pinmar.com
