QROT-10: How to Effectively Follow Up on Denied Accusations
Sep 08, 2021, 07:59 AM
A follow-up to my Scales of Truth 019, trying to categorize and explain, using what I did there as a case study, how you can get on the trail, and/or recognize when you happen upon it, when it seems a mainstream group has denied what seems like a very good criticism of their outlook.
Hint: Mine what they say in front of neutral or friendly audiences. In that environment they will say things, though they may be coded, that will be the admissions that may be consistent with the criticism.
Do not expect the truth to be sorted out in the the exchanges between the dissenters and the mainstream. In there you will find denial and subterfuge and character assassination. You may mine there, but don't expect much.
