Ep 227: We need to talk about young men, with Dr Nihara Krause
Nov 19, 2021, 01:00 PM
Mick Coyle speaks to Consultant Clinical Psychologist and CEO of the Stem4 charity Dr Nihara Krause.
Stem4's new survey shines a light on the mental health experiences of young men, between the ages of 14 and 21.
The results shows how young men and boys have to deal with old-fashioned perceptions about what a man should be, how they fear being seen as weak if they ask for help, and how they're dealing with issues you might not expect.
It's another eye-opening conversation on the UK's home of mental health conversation.
Links to Stem4 and other mental health services are listed in the podcast.
