Season 1, Episode 15, Dec 31, 2021, 02:14 PM
In the midst of World War II, at the Midland Hotel in Manchester on 4th January 1942, delegates from six disparate Jewish communities attended an historic conference that marked the beginning of the Movement for Reform Judaism as we know it today as it was felt that 'concerted effort by the congregations here represented would be of great value for the common good.'
In this special birthday episode, historian David Jacobs joins the rabbis to kick off a year of celebrations to mark the anniversary, as they discuss both the past and the future of the Movement for Reform Judaism.
