Sammy Hall: Sober Circle

In this episode we chat to Sammy Hall, the wonderful founder of Sober Circle!
We're Sharon, Freddie and Ben, three normal people who decided to give up alcohol to see how our lives would change. We're not medical experts but we are expert ex-drinkers, and our podcast brings people together who are on their own alcohol-free journeys by celebrating just how wonderful life without booze can be!
Sober Circle started because Sammy wanted to find friends who were sober in her area. She was lucky to find her three sober best friends through Instagram, and wanted to help other people do the same thing. In this conversation she talks to us about how Sober Circle grew organically as a way of helping people to connect, and it's a lovely genuine story of someone who wants to spread positivity and joy.
Sammy also talks to us about a connection she made through the dating app Tinder... She swiped right on a sober gentleman, they went for a lockdown date in the park, and now Sammy is pregnant with their first baby, due in June! The gentleman in question is the fabulous Stuart Cook who featured as a guest on the podcast in November, and we are absolutely over the moon for them.
